Time on the Water by Bill Gardner (Musky Hunter) In 1980, Bill Gardner did what all of us would like to do someday - he took a year off from his job to try to catch a giant musky. He recorded his trials and tribulations in diary form, and this was published as a book, "Time On The Water". The book rapidly became a favortie among musky hunters, who enjoyed Gardner's humor and felt his frustrations. When the book went out of print, original copies fast became treasured among collectors, who often paid more than $100 for their copy.
