Cat's Tails Lures The history of Cat's Tails Tackle goes back to 1994. The idea was to come up with something very different, "Not Just Another Bucktail". After many prototypes were made and tested, we found what we were looking for in a high quality fish-catching, bucktail.
Before all other plastic trailered lures, Cat's Tails Original Bucktails were the very first lure to use a plastic trailer on a single siwash hook as a standard.
Our single, plastic trailered lures started the "Plastic Revolution". .....Now, many other popular namebrand lures also use the idea of trailered plastics.
Since the first original bucktails were made, we have expanded our line to 5 variations, and 10 color patterns of the first original lures, that we keep on hand and in stock.
Our baits are constructed of only the highest quality components..... Prime Northern Bucktail, Pheasant Feathers, and Genuine Skunk hair . The wire used on all models is a super strong .062 stainless steel wire shaft!
Finally, absolutely no disassembly of our lures is required to replace the plastic trailers . Take along a supply of your favorite plastic trailers for that different look,color or action. |
